South Europe Startup Award (SESA) is the new region in the GSA network launched in 2019 and hosting a startup contest covering the entire Southern Europe countries. SESA is brought for the first time ever in Europe by X23 - The Innovation Bakery and EXOO23|Radical™ high growth program. X23 is an independent multidisciplinary, self-sustaining research center founded in 1999, committed to innovation, research, growth, and scale-up.
SESA aim is to become the one-stop-shop event for each of the participating countries’ startup ecosystems with the aim to inspire, stimulate and recognize the entrepreneurial spirit, disruptive innovation capacity, ecosystem cohesion and collaboration for the benefit of each country economic growth. Our purpose is to connect the ecosystem players and to enthusiastically engage them to support startups international exposure, their capacity to boost their growth and to expand to international markets.
Our Grand Finale will be celebrated in Turin, in partnership with the Turin Municipality celebrating disruptive innovation, social inclusion, female founders, migrant entrepreneurs as well as the change makers, the policymakers, the representative from the industry sector, the investors and media to recognize entrepreneurial talent, determination and commitment to stand out.
